Case Study 2 — Creating a PPN 006 Compliant Carbon Reduction Plan

Our client wished to bid for a public sector tender but didn’t have a Carbon Reduction Plan (CRP) compliant with PPN 006, which would have made them ineligible to bid.

With no existing CRP, emissions baseline or carbon reduction targets in place, Combatting Carbon worked directly with the client to pull together their emissions baseline from available data, map out their Scope 1, Scope 2 and relevant Scope 3 emissions, and identify relevant reduction pathways.

By using our Carbon Reduction Plan template and carbon accounting software, we were able to produce a CRP in line with PPN 006 requirements in under 24 hours, allowing our client to submit a compliant bid.
